For those entering the Verde River Canoe Challenge and need a rental we will deliver your boats and gear to the Verde River and Pick them up at the end of the day at no shuttle fee.
Verde River Rental Drop-Off Service (For a do it yourself Verde River Trip)
We deliver your funyaks and equipment to the river for you and pick them up at the end of your Verde River trip.
Last Verde River rental pickup is at 4 pm.
Your Verde River trip day begins at our Boathouse in West Sedona. We have single funyaks(inflatable kayak) for adults or tandems for children 5-12 yrs who are required to ride withan adult. After being fitted with the appropriate gear, you will follow our Verde River shuttle in your vehicle out of Sedona and into the beautiful Verde Valley. You will follow us in your vehicle to the wild and scenic Verde River in Camp Verde (about a 1 hour drive from Sedona). This is not the whitwater rafting trip section of the Verde River but the float trip section of the Verde River and very suitable for Arizona family fun in the sun.
Our first stop will be in Camp Verde at the Clear Creek River Access Point where your Verde River trip will begin. Here we will begin to unload your funyaks and river gear needed for your trip. One person from your group will drive your vehicle and follow our Verde River shuttle driver to the boat ramp in Beasley Flats where your Verde River Adventure will come to an end.
Here you park your vehicle and then we will drive you back up river to Clear Creek to begin your funyak trip. We will then leave you to enjoy the river on your own for the day. (Verde River shuttle takes about 30 minutes round trip)
USGS Verde River Current Conditions
Your Verde River Trip can be anywhere from 2 to 3 hours depending on river conditions, and whether you stop for a picnic or to swim. Your funyak trip on the Verde River ends at Beasley Flats where your vehicle is parked.
Upon completion of your Verde River adventure use your cell phone to call our local shuttle driver (who lives about 10 minutes away). While you wait clean off the boats and equipment ($25.00 cleaning fee per boat if left dirty) and bring the boats and gear up to the boat loading area. We will meet you to collect all your gear and free you up to enjoy the rest of the day. Our Verde River rental pick up departs Beasley Flats at 4 PM.
Should your arrive after 4 PM,you will clean off and deflate the kayaks, load them in your vehicle and return the kayaks and all the gear back to our Boathouse in West Sedona. Kayaks and gear must be returned by close of business or next morning by 8am.
Our Verde River rental hours are from 8am to 5pm, 7 days a week (hours change seasonally, so please confirm at the boathouse).
The shuttle leaves Sedona at 9am. Directions and maps will be provided by the Boathouse.
Funyak Singles: $87.00* per boat, per day (includes shuttle and rental pick up, there is a 2 funyak minimum)
Funyak Tandems:(2 person) $157.00* per boat, per day (includes shuttle and rental pick up)
Verde River Rental (do it all yourself,non-shuttled and no rental pick up)
We have single funyaksfor adults or tandems for children (5-12 y.o.) riding withan adult. We will provide you with the appropriate gear, which includes life jacket, helmet, paddle, pump and water cannon. Maps and directions to the river are provided at the boathouse.
Non-shuttled rentals are for those who have two vehicles in their party and wish to be completely independent on their journey.
After your float trip down the beautiful Verde River, you will clean and deflate the boats, load them in your vehicle and return the funyaks and all the gear back to our Boathouse in West Sedona.

Verde River Kayak, Raft Rental & Shuttle Servies
Verde River kayak rental & shuttle services is for those private boaters who would like to rent boating gear & have vehicles shuttle to Child's Hot Spings or Horseshoe Reservoir take outs. Sedona Adventure Tours is close by several other Arizona Whitewater rafting rivers private boaters enjoy. The Salt River Rafting between Globe and Show Low and the San Juan River in Bluff Utah.
