Discover a whole new world while gliding down the serene waters of the Verde River in your safe, stable and secure inflatable kayak. Located just minutes from Sedona, The Verde is the only ‘Wild & Scenic River’ in Arizona. No experience is necessary for this safe and relaxing float down the gentle waters of the Verde. Your guide will assist you with basic paddling techniques and Sedona Adventure Tours will provide all of the gear you need to make this a truly enjoyable, memorable, and safe adventure.
Single and double boats are available to accommodate families with children and adults of all sizes. Included with your river adventure are a delicious lunch, on-river snacks and bottled water. Come to the Verde in an inflatable kayak with Sedona Adventure Tours!
River Trip Sample Itinerary(Verde River water time is approximately three hours)
What to bring: Sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera in a Ziploc water proof bag (dress appropriately for the weather and time of year)
What we provide: Awesome guide, boats, paddles, PFD, splash pant, river shoes, all transportation, lunch, snacks, beverages
7:30 a.m. Check in at the boathouse do paper work meet your guide
7:45 a.m. Fitted with life jacket river booties load up the van 8:00 a.m. Depart Sedona for the Verde River (about 40 miles from Sedona) 8:45 a.m. Arrive Verde River Clear Creek River Access Point 9:00 a.m. Begin your guided Verde River trip
10:30 a.m. Stop for delicious river side lunch (wraps, chips, cookies, fruit, beverages) 11:00 a.m. On river for second half of trip 12:00 p.m. Arrive at Beasley Flats Verde River access boat ramp end of river trip 12:00 p.m. Load up all the boats, gear and depart Beasley Flats for Sedona 1:00 p.m. Arrive back at Sedona Adventure Tours boathouse
Tour Time: Check in 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and departs Sedona 8:00 a.m. This tour is approximately 6-7 hours, we will be boating about 5 river miles in 3 hours and returns to Sedona at about 1:00 p.m.
