Tubing Madness on the Verde River (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day)
Bring a picnic lunch and spend the day tubing on the Verde River. Simply meet us at Beasley Flats in Camp Verde and we'll shuttle you to the beginning so you can float down to meet your vehicle or jump back on the shuttle and do it all over again!
This is a fun and relaxing Verde River tubing adventure in the remote wilderness of the lush Verde Valley, located about an hour from Sedona. You can call the boathouse in Sedona or use our reservations page and reserve your tubes, then meet us at the Verde River at Beasley Flats Recreational Area where your tubing shuttle driver will be waiting with your tubes and or course water cannons for epoch water fights. Maps and directions provided upon reservation; by email or fax. From here, the tubing shuttle will take you up stream to your put-in spot on the Verde River and you will leisurely float down to your vehicle.
Verde River tube floats are approximately 1-2 hours depending on water flows. Expect to get wet and get lots of sunshine so be sure to bring appropriate shoes, hats, sunscreen, water and lunch. You can do this tubing run 2 times if you arrive between the hours of 10:30-11:30am for the first tube shuttles and still have time for a picnic in between your tubing runs. Last tube shuttle is at 3pm for the lower 1/2 mile stretch which takes about an hour the Verde River Tubing Madness ends at 4:00pm. Tube shuttles leave every 15 minutes so come prepared to board shuttle.
This is a very remote area of the Verde Valley; bringing your own water and food for a picnic is recommended as there are no concessions or restaurants near the Verde River. There are pavilions with picnic tables located near your vehicle to have your picnic. Life jackets and helmets optional, please request your appropriate sizes upon reservation.
