On this trip you will enjoy the abundant wildlife and magnificent scenery along the river's lush banks. This section of the river offers small chutes and drops making your river experience fun and exciting. Your float trip ends at the first winery on the Verde River with the Tuscan style farmhouse of Alcantara Winery & Vineyard a favorite for anyone on the Verde Valley Wine Trail. Alcantara offers award winning wines and knowledgeable Sommeliers. Great photo opportunities! This fabulous tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours from start to finish. Tour departs daily from the boathouse in Sedona at 1pm. The tour offers three vineyards for wine tasting depending on availability and season. Your tour will leave beautiful Sedona traveling a short distance south to the lush area of Page Springs to Oak Creek Vineyard. This charming adobe country style tasting room located on the volcanic hillsides of Oak Creek offers a unique selection of Arizona wines. They produce full bodied, flavorful red wines along with lean whites.Next, we take you to Page Springs Cellars, an artistic winery specializing in handcrafted Rhone style wines. After your wine tasting, you will receive a wine glass to take home as a souvenir. Our last stop will be Javelina Leap Vineyards, offering a saloon style tasting room with a copper ceiling, oak bar and ragtime music playing.
