The Water to Wine Paddleboarding Experience combines the beauty of Arizona’s river country with the relaxed atmosphere of Alcantara Vineyards. This self-guided stand-up paddleboarding trip gives you the freedom to move at your own pace while enjoying calm water, lush riverbanks, vineyard views, and the wide-open scenery of the Verde Valley.
Your experience starts at Alcantara Vineyards, where you’ll check in and receive your paddleboard, paddle, and safety gear. From there, we provide shuttle service to the river launch point. Once on the water, you’ll paddle down the Verde River and enjoy a peaceful outdoor escape surrounded by nature.
The best part? Your paddle ends right back at the vineyard. Step off the river, change if needed, and head up to enjoy the grounds, food, wine, and views. Each guest receives a $20 credit to use at Alcantara Vineyards for food, wine, or gifts. This is the kind of Arizona experience people remember: simple, scenic, refreshing, and just the

How It Works?
- Check-In & Prep: You will arrive at our meeting location where you’ll receive your premium paddleboard, paddle, and safety gear.
- Launch & Float: We provide the shuttle service to the river launch point. From there, you will enjoy a peaceful, self-guided float down the Verde River.
- Vineyard Arrival: Your river trip ends directly at the vineyard. Step off the water and head up to enjoy your wine tasting and relax on the beautiful grounds.
What to bring?
- Reusable water bottles, as we can not provide or sell any plastic water bottles for use on public land. We do have filtered water for refilling.
- Big smiles and laughter — it’s going to be a fun adventure!
- Clothing that is suitable for the weather conditions on the day of your tour.
- Change of clothing for after the river trip (you might be getting wet!).
- Shoes or sandals that can get wet, a sunhat, sunglasses with straps, sunscreen, and a plastic bag for phones, cameras, and whatever else you need to keep dry.
- ID for wine tasting.

The Paddle to Vine experience you are looking at is a combination of two companies. We at Verde Adventures book the trip and provide the logistics for the entire Verde River experience.
-Our partner, Alcantara Vineyards, is the vineyard where your river trip ends and your wine tasting begins. - We thoroughly clean and disinfect all our equipment after each use.
- At the request of Alcantara, the price is the same for adults, children, and those not participating in the wine tasting; this is part of their land use fee for using their private beach as a river access point. Everyone gets a $20 credit to use at the winery for food, wine, or gifts.
